On 12 June 2019 at Blanchelande Park Nursing Home, aged 90 years. Husband of the late Anne, father of Debbie, Sally and Catherine, father-in-law of Dave, Paul and Len, grandfather of Daniel and Abby, Kristin, Kelly, Josh, and the late Mathew, and great-grandfather of Ira and Lev. Steve was born in Devizes, Wiltshire and graduated from Queens' College, Cambridge in 1952. Steve and Anne retired to Guernsey from Canada in 1991. Steve was very involved in volunteer activities on the island, including sitting on the Board of Les Bourgs Hospice and was instrumental in the renovation which was completed in 2012. After the reopening of Les Bourgs, Steve resigned his seat to focus on taking care of Anne who was ill with Alzheimer's. When the severity of her illness necessitated a care home, Steve spent much of his time visiting Anne, until her death two years ago. Private Cremation.
