HENRY, Stephen

Dearly loved, respected and very loving husband of Mo (Rosemary), much loved father of Ben, Beks and Rach, and Pompom (grandfather) of Maisie, Evie and Oliver.Went to be with his Lord and Saviour on 10th November 2025, peacefully at his home with his family by his side, aged 87 years.Following a private burial, there will be a Thanksgiving Service at the Vale Mission Hall on Monday 24th November at 3pm to which all who knew Steve are welcome. Extra parking by kind permission of the Clematis Nursery. No flowers thank you, but donations in lieu may be sent to a charitable work in the DR Congo that was very dear to Steve's heart via The Vale Mission Treasurer, Bethany, Grand Fort Road, St Sampson, GY2 4GZ.

So sad to hear of the passing of Steve,
My deepest sympathy to Rosemary and all the Henry clan. I know how much he has meant to so many.
My memory of him as a lunch time swimmer at Le Vallette running the steps and cliff path and into the often-freezing water, an engineering mate who would cheerfully help us out with our car problems on many occasions.
A humble man who will leave a great legacy.
