Peacefully, at Summerland House Nursing Home, on 7 October 2017, aged 81. Loved husband of Peggy (nee Gallienne), cherished father of Sarah and Julian, father-in-law of Liz, grandpa of Andrew, Etienne, Amelia and Georgina, brother of Betty. Funeral service at Torteval Parish Church on Monday, 23 October at Midday. Everyone who knew Alan is welcome. Family flowers only please but donations in lieu may be sent to the Guernsey Alzheimers Association, c/o Bryan Mauger Hon Treasurer, 6 Belmont Rise, Les Croutes, St Peter Port GY1 1PZ. Private interment.
