Passed peacefully away, aged 83 years, on 1st October 2019 at Highfield House Care Home, after a long illness, quietly ignored by him. Dearly loved husband and best friend of Yvonne (née Brehaut) for sixty years, darling daddy and 'Pooh Bear' of Alison and Michael, deeply loved grandad of Emily and Penny Dawes and respected and loved by all who knew him. "To be born a gentleman is an accident, but to die a gentleman is an achievement. "Private family funeral. A Memorial Service will be held later.
