OGIER, Roland John

Aged 57. Passed away peacefully at Les Bourgs Hospice on Thursday 24 October 2019, surrounded by his family. Much loved husband of Yumi, loved dad of Tom, Anna, Bella and Billy, beloved son of Nina and the late John and brother of Sally-Ann, Ger and Joff. Funeral service to be held at St Pierre du Bois Parish Church on Wednesday 6 November at 2. 00 p. m. Relatives and friends kindly accept this intimation. Family flowers only. Donations in lieu may be sent to Guernsey Society for Cancer Relief, Mrs S Butler, Meldrum Way, Braye Road, Vale, GY3 5PR or Les Bourgs Hospice, Andrew Mitchell House, Rue du Tertre, St Andrews, GY6 8SF. To Roland's family and friends, please accept our sincere condolences on the death of Roland.
We are deeply saddened to hear of his death at such a young age.
We are all members of the former Barings IT Department in Dublin, and we worked closely with Roland for a number of years. We have very fond memories of Roland; when discussing his passing yesterday the words which came to mind were decent, nice, good, lovely, genuine, highly thought of. To put it simply he was a really nice guy. We cannot imagine how heartbroken you must be feeling at this time, but we hope the kind thoughts, wishes and remembrances of those who knew him will be of some comfort to you.
