On 20 April 2020 died peacefully at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital, aged 97 years. Much loved and loving wife of the late David, dearly loved by her children Brian, Anthony, Jane and the late Nigel, grandchildren Theowen, Susannah and Edward and great-grandson Dylan. Loved step-mother of Robin, Peter and Alistair and their families. A good friend to many and sadly missed by all. Private graveside service. There will be a memorial service later in the year. No flowers, but donations in Joan's memory may be made to the International Fund for Animal Welfare (www. ifaw. org/uk) or Lepra (www. lepra. org. uk/).
