Unexpectedly but peacefully, passed away at his home, aged 72 years. Wonderful and respected father to Timothy, Jacob, Beatrix and Jack, beloved grandfather to Sonny and Ariella. A friend to many and will be sorely missed. No Telephone calls please. Funeral arrangements to follow.

I met Derek in the 70’s at JWT. Fell in love!
Fell apart. And I had the good fortune to meet my old flame 37 years later in Bancock in 2016! Fun and laughter and loving kindness prevailed. As he said souls remain the same it’s only our bodies that change.
I know his soul will be illuminating the way for many if we just tune in.
