GOODYEAR, Mary Janet (née Harvey)

Took her last breath at Linden House Dementia Care Home, Lymington, Hampshire on 25th September 2024, aged 81. Beloved wife of the late John Goodyear and much loved sister to Ann Greenstreet. Funeral service at Le Foulon Chapel on Thursday 7th November at 12:00 midday. Interment at Le Foulon Cemetery. Everyone who knew Mary is welcome. Family flowers only please. Donations to the Alzheimer's Society.

An amazing lady

Tribute from Allison Prebble

I worked with Mary and John at MBL. I was based in the Taiwan and Thailand offices and Mary and John would visit us annually. We had some hilarious moments, one where Mary saved John from being decapitated by a low bridge when he wouldn't listen to any of us! Mary and I worked closely on a few projects and I learnt a great deal from her. She was a lovely, generous and warm lady.
