Peacefully, at home, on 30th April 2025, aged 51, in the comforting and reassuring presence of family and friends after a long and incredibly brave battle with motor neurone disease. Much-loved and loving husband of Abbie, dad of Finlay and Frazer, son of Ed and Jenny, brother of Ben, son-in-law of Pete and the late Jean, Mike and Liz, and uncle of Jess, Nyx, Min and Sammy. Alex was blessed with a host of loyal and supportive friends who, during his illness, he came to call 'Alex's Heroes'.Details of a humanist ceremony in celebration of Alex's life, which will be held in his beloved field at La Route des Talbots, are to follow.
