Peacefully, at home, on 30th April 2025, aged 51, in the comforting and reassuring presence of family and friends after a long and incredibly brave battle with motor neurone disease. Much-loved and loving husband of Abbie, dad of Finlay and Frazer, son of Ed and Jenny, brother of Ben, son-in-law of Pete and the late Jean, Mike and Liz, and a dear brother-in-law and uncle. Alex was blessed with a host of loyal and supportive friends who, during his illness, he came to call 'Alex's Heroes'.Following private cremation, a humanist ceremony in celebration of Alex's life will be held in his beloved field directly opposite L'Echelle, his and Abbie's home at La Route des Talbots, on Saturday, 17th May at 2.00 p.m. All family and friends welcome. Parking courtesy of St Andrew's Parish Church. Please feel free to wear casual and colourful attire.
