Peacefully, at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital, on 16 February 2026, aged 74. Much loved husband of Jane, cherished dad of Hayley and Rachel, father-in-law of Darren and Guy, adored grandpa of Louis, Kyle, Mia, Ben, Noah and Harrison, dear brother-in-law and uncle, sadly missed by all family and friends. Private cremation. A celebration of his life will be held at Les Cotils on Thursday, 5th March at 11:30 a.m. Everyone who knew Bert is welcome. No flowers please, but donations in Lieu may be sent to Les Bourgs Hospice, Andrew Mitchell House, Rue du Tertre, St Andrew GY6 8SF.
