On the 24th February aged 65, unexpectedly but peacefully, with family at his side, at St Peters Hospital, Chertsey. Dearly loved husband of Elizabeth (Liz), adored father of Emily and Katie. Beloved son of Sylvia and the late Walter, and brother of Ian, Adrian and Richard. A wonderful uncle and much loved by his wider family. He was a kind neighbour and good friend to many. Settled for many years in Hampton, South West London but born and brought up in Guernsey which he still called home. Taken too soon but loved life and lived it to the full, "a true gentleman".Funeral service and celebration of life will be held in Phil's home neighbourhood in Hampton: South West Middlesex crematorium on Thursday 26 March 1.20pm, followed by a wake nearby. Everyone who knew him is welcome, no formal dress code. Family flowers only, but donations in lieu to the British Heart Foundation. A tribute page is available on the BHF website.
