Passed away peacefully at Highfield House Care Home after a short illness fought with dignity and courage, aged 86 years, on Saturday 28th March 2026. Loved and devoted husband of Maggie, father and father-in-law of Andy and Julie, and Colin, much loved step-dad of Darrell and Florence, Tracy and Peter, Rachelle and Tim, and Nicky and Wayne. Grandfather of Matthew, Nicholas, Christopher, and Louis, and a dearly loved Poppa of Charlotte, Caitlin, Luc, Morgan, Nico and Charis. Brother and brother-in-law of Jean and Mich, also TJ, a very special friend. He will be greatly missed.Funeral service to be held at St Pierre du Bois Parish Church on Thursday 16th April 2026 at 11:00am. Relatives and friends kindly accept this intimation. Casual attire may be worn, particularly something red in Dave's memory. Family flowers only but any kind donations in lieu may be sent to Guernsey RNLI, St Peter Port Lifeboat Station, PO Box 631, St Julian's Emplacement, St Peter Port, GY1 3DL (Please make cheques payable to Guernsey RNLI).Private interment.
