It is with a mix of heavy hearts and bright memories that we announce the peaceful passing of William Albert Preece (Dits), at The Princess Elizabeth Hospital, on Saturday, 27th June 2026, aged 80. Beloved husband of the late Allen Jones of Alderney and a dearest friend to so many. Dits lived every day as a glittering main event, leaving a legacy of flawless style. His vibrant spirit, warmth and unmistakable flair will live on in the hearts of all who were lucky enough to have known him.A memorial service to celebrate Dits' life will take place at St Anne's Church, Alderney on Saturday, 18th July at 11.00 a.m. Colourful attire is welcome.
