Peacefully at Les Bourgs Hospice on Friday 31st July 2026, aged 83 years. Devoted husband of Jo, loved father of Julie and Stewart and father-in-law of Lorraine, Grampa of Louise, Kirsty, Danny and Fin, brother of Ailsa.In accordance with Sam's wishes, no service will be held, however anyone wishing to make a donation in his memory may do so to Les Bourgs Hospice, Andrew Mitchell House, Rue du Tertre, St Andrews, GY6 8SF. The family would like to thank all the staff in Oncology, Carey Ward, Les Bourgs Hospice and Le Grand Courtil, with special thanks to Dr Mat Dorian for all his care given to Sam over the years.
