At the Princess Elizabeth Hospital, on 23 August 2026, aged 80. Missed beyond words by his wife Linda, step-father of the late Anne, father of Damian, Tracey, Christopher and Jason; grandfather of Mia, Noah, Oliver, Freya, Owen, Kayleigh, Carrie, Cayden and Luca, great-grandfather of Ralph, Jensen and Ruby, and also foster father. Fran was one of eight brothers and sisters in Guernsey and will be missed by all his family and relatives, including those on his father's side in Spain, with whom he had recently been reunited.At Fran's own request, there will be no funeral service, followed by a private cremation. Any kind donations in his memory may be sent to Les Bourgs Hospice, Andrew Mitchell House, Rue du Tertre, St Andrew's, GY6 8SF.
