In loving memory of Jo, who died unexpectedly 3 years ago. She is much missed by her husband John, her children Rachel in France and Paul in Edinburgh and her grandchildren Tom and Dan. She became well known for her pioneering work on melatonin and circadian rhythms, and was respected and on friendly terms with many other scientists world wide.
