Passed away peacefully at her home in Oxford on 4th September 2026 in her 93rd year after several years of deteriorating health. Daughter of the late Wilfred Mahy and Norah Mahy (née Dillingham), beloved wife of the late John Nicholson Whitehead, a dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Richard and Tanya and Judith and Timothy, a much loved grandmother and great grandmother, aunt and great-aunt, sister of the late Dr Brian Mahy and of Geoffrey Wynn Mahy. In her youth Rosemary was well known on this island as a gifted concert pianist. Funeral (live-streamed) to take place on 22nd September at 2 pm at Long Ashton Parish Church near Bristol.
