Peacefully aged 96 on Sunday 20th September 2026 at Chateau des Tielles Nursing Home, (formerly of Holmeside, Calais Lane, St Martins). Wife of the late Gordon Arthur Holmes. Beloved mother of Alison and Ashley, and treasured Nanny of Jemma, Emily and Alex. In accordance with Doreen's wishes, a private service will be held, however anyone wishing to make a kind donation in her memory, may do so to Cancer Research UK (Guernsey Branch), c/o Jennie Strowbridge, Cay -Os, New Road, St Sampson's, GY2 4QB.
